It is a four wheel drive scenic tour that begins from Kathmandu and ends at Lhasa. You will witness real mountains and beautiful landscapes en route to Lhasa Roof of the world. Probably, it is the best and most picturesque highway of the world.
There are various things you will observe while in this package of 10 days. Passing through the splendid mountains, monasteries and settlement in high altitudes you arrive at Everest Base Camp.
Tashihunpo Monastery, PalkorChode Temple in Gyantse and Rongbuk Monastery. the highest Monastery in the world are the prominent sites you get in this wonderful tour.
Lhasa will unfold its beauty capturing your heart. Here you will explore Jokhang Temple, Norbulinka Palace, Drepung monastery and Sera Monastery along with Potala Palace. Finally, you get back to Kathmandu with content heart filled delivering thanks to nature.

You leave Kathmandu for Nyalam early in the morning. After driving for around five hour you arrive at Nepal-Tibet border. Here you get done with immigration formalities and after meeting all the requirements you head towards Zhangmu. You pass through gorge witnessing waterfall before arriving at Nyalam.
Overnight in Nyalam
It is a scenic drive of around six hours. You cross two high passes—Nyalam (3800m) and La Lalung Pass (5082m)—to reach Tingri. The pass unfolds majestic view of Mount Everest (8,848 m) JugalHimal and Mt. Makalu (8464m).
Overnight in Tingri
We move early in the morning. We head towards Pang La (5,150m). We are proceeding towards main Himalayan range. From here you get wonderful view of Mount Makalu and Shishapangma. After reaching Ronbuk you visit Ronbuk Monastery.
Overnight in Ronbuk
It is one of the dream days of your life. You will explore around Everest Base Camp. The sunrise view on Mount Everest will capture your heart. If you really want something extra to do then you can rent horse cart and observe the areas near around. After sometime of enjoyment you get back to Ronbuk.
Overnight in Ronbuk
Following a route to Lhasa you head ahead until you get in Gyatchu La (5,220 m). It is a highest pass while travelling to Lhasa. Xigatse is bit further from here. The town (Xigatse) is popular in the history of Tibet.
Overnight in Xigatse
As usual, you will start your journey early in the morning. You visit Tashilumpo. It is situated at the footsteps of Drolmari. Or, you can also say it is located at the bottom of Tara Mountain on the western direction of Shigatse.
Gyantse is around two hour drives from here. Here (Gyantse) you will observe Gyantse Dzong Palkor, Khumbum and Chode Monastery.
Overnight in Gyantse
Ah! It is going to be wonderful drive today. You will pass through picturesque areas of Tibet and it is a ride of almost all the day. There are two passes en route to Lhasa—Karo La (5010m) and Kamba La pass (4794m).
You will also witness Yamdrok Lake or Turquoise Lake. After crossing Brahmaputra River you get distant view of Potala Palace. It (Brahmaputra River) is called YarlungTsangpo in local language.
Overnight in Lhasa
You will be exploring Lhasa today. You visit Sera monastery at the first. It is a colorful monastery with beautiful architecture. The monastery is located in a cliff.
Norbulinga Palace is another destination of our visit. It is regarded as summer palace of Dalai Lama. Similarly, you visit Jokhang Temple. It is spiritual center of villagers. You will be strolling in the streets of ancient city that is close to Barkhor market.
Overnight in Lhasa
Today you will visit Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery. It is a wonderful place built in a hillock. It is truly masterpiece portraying the masterpiece of 17th century. Drepung Monastery is one of the largest monasteries of Tibet that was built in 14th century.
Overnight in Lhasa
Today, early in the morning you will be driven to the airport and from here you will catch flight to Kathmandu.
