13 days Everest Base Camp trekking begins after our sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. We visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu valley and take the short flight to Lukla the next day morning. The weather of Lukla airport sometimes gets disturbed because of heavy cloud. The visibility is very poor and flights may be postponed or cancelled.

After 35 minutes of scenic to Lukla airport, we along with a crew, begin hike down to Phakding. Phakding is located at a lower elevation than Lukla. Moving onwards, we pass Sagarmatha National Park entry point at Monjo then head towards Namche Bazaar. After we cross the suspension bridge, all the way until we get Namche is up.

Namche Bazar is the capital of Everest region. This is also a trade Centre and tourist hub to relax and to experience the entire Everest region at a glance. We normally spend a whole day for acclimatization and exploration of Namche. We go to the Everest View Hotel and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the mountain including Mt. Everest. We also visit to Sherpa Cultural Museum and Thamserku is just beautiful.

Then, we head to Tengboche from Namche. Tengboche monastery and the serene and lush forest are the major highlights of Tengboche. Then, we gradually trek to Gorekh Shep via Dingboche, Periche, and Lobuche. The next day, early in the morning, we climb Kalapatthar which is the highest point of this trekking and enjoy the most magnificent views of mountain including Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori and Mt. Everest, the top of the world. This is not enough, we again go to Everest Base Camp trek and seize some superb views. But we cannot see Mt. Everest from Everest Base Camp.

Following the same trail downwards, we get Lukla via Namche and Phakding. Ultimately, we take a short flight to Kathmandu.
