11 days Manaslu Circuit Trek is there are several customized itineraries for Manaslu Circuit Trek. It is derived from the core Manaslu Circuit Trek Itinerary of either 18 days or 22 days. 11 days Manaslu Circuit Trek itinerary is for those adventure lovers who have high level stamina of trekking in the mountain for at least 8-9 hours.Since Manaslu Circuit Trek is widely known as one of the adventure trekking, undoubtedly, we require a good level of physical stamina with confidence of continuous hiking for 8 hours. In order to enhance your hiking or trekking stamina, you can do some short or easier hiking or trekking, some easy walks, regular exercises and aerobics.

As other Manaslu Circuit Treks, we begin our 11 days Manaslu Circuit Trek from Sotikhola . We have two options to get Sotikhola from Kathmandu. The one is Sotikhola Jeep Ride and the other is Sotikhola Public Bus Ride. To be frank, the jeep ride to Sotikhola will  be more convenient to you because it mountain road and the condition of toad is not really good. But recently, the road is under the process of concretization. Hopefully, we can enjoy a comfortable drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola soon for our Manaslu Circuit Trek. From Sotikhola, we begin our trekking via lush forest, terraced fields, awesome river beaches, exploring holy caves and monasteries. As we go closer to the Tibetan border, we can experience dialects too. Similarly, we will be stunned to witness Mt. Manaslu( 8163m)  and other alluring peaks to the Tibetan side.Later, we have a challenge which is Larkya La Pass, one of the highest passes of the world. At the top of the Larkya La Pass, we really feel blessed ourselves crossing the one of the adventurous passes in the world. Finally, we end our 11 days Manaslu Circuit Trek at Besisahar.

Permits

Trekkers require obtaining a special area permit for Manaslu Circuit Trek since it is a restricted area trekking in Nepal. If you are booking your 11 days Manaslu Trek via a trekking company, they will arrange all required permits for you and need have minimum two trekkers. 

Food and Accommodation

The food items we get on the 11 days Manaslu Circuit Trek are bread, noodle, dumpling, Dal Bhat and curry, Thukpa etc. We do not really get such items of the food we get in the cities. One item of the food costs between 4-8 US dollars.

We have to satisfy on very normal type of accommodation during our 11 days Manaslu Circuit Trek since it is remote area trekking. Only few lodges can be found on the trail and even sometimes they are full. So, you need to tell your guide to make a prior reservation of your accommodation for your Manaslu Circuit Trek. Expect to share the accommodation, bathrooms and toilets. They are normally outside. One accommodation cost between 10-15 US dollars.

Sotikhola is located on west-north from Kathmandu. You will be enjoying countryside Nepal in this ride of around seven to eight hours. Following green vegetation and Drive along Budi Gandaki river we head ahead which will bring us at Kyoropani. The trail to Kyoropani is a bit uphill. From here we will follow the downhill course to reach SotiKhola (River).Overnight in SotiKhola

    This is the first day trekking of our Manaslu Circuit Trek. We start our walk after breakfast. Today, we follow the mountain road all way to Machhakhola. Budi Gandaki River is on the right. We arrive at Lapubesi. We continue our walk and take us to Nauli Khola. We cross suspension bridge and get to Khanibesi. Our further walk finally takes us at MachhaKhola. Overnight at MachhaKhola..Overnight at MachhaKhola.

      Crossing Machha Khola and following the uphill trail we arrive at Khola Besi. There is a hot spring here where you can take a dip and feel the warmth of the water. We will pass through the forest and get in Doban. Lauri is our next destination. After crossing the suspension bridge we arrive at Jagat.Overnight in Jagat

        As usual, our trail begins after breakfast and we get in Rana village. Mani stones come in notice here. Buddhist prayers are etched in the rock which is known as mani stones or rock. People here follow Tibetan Buddhism and the area has the influence of this religion because the site shares a border with Tibet. After some time of walk, we arrive at Deng.

        Overnight at Deng

          First of all, we ascend to be at Bihi. Crossing Ghap we arrive at Namrung. It is a religious village where you breathe Buddhism in its air. The view of Mount Manaslu, Himachali and Ganesh Himal is fascinating from here. Overnight at Namrung

            Viewing Siring and Ganesh Hima, we slowly leave Namrung village. We also celebrate the view of Mt. Himal Chuli in the south. Now, we encounter with a steep ascent and trek through forests. After some time, we get to Lihi village which is famous for chortens and terraced barley fields. We still have to pass through different settlements such as Sho, Lho and Shyala villages before reaching Sama Village. During our trek through different villages, we enjoy peak 29, Manasalu and some giant glaciers and the view ends with Ganesh Himal.Today’s walk is pleasing as you will get a beautiful view of a few snow-capped peaks. Samagaon is popular for a mesmerizing view of mountains and incredible nature. Overnight at Samagaon.

            Samdo is not that far away from Sama Goan. There is a beautiful forest here which borders Tibet. It is a picturesque site that will keep you busy with your camera.

              We will be exploring the local area including Birendra Lake and Manaslu Base Camp. It is a point where you get a beautiful view of mountains including Mount Manaslu.               Overnight at Samdo

                Following the uphill trail and Budi Gandaki stream. It is the last village where we reach in Manaslu Base Camp Trekking. We now proceed towards Larkya Bazaar followed by Dharmasala which is at an altitude of 4,450m. Overnight at Dharmasala

                  As we come up to Dharamsala we get a splendid view of Larkya Peak. The trail is steep but rewarding too. The picturesque view of Annapurna II, Cheo Himal, Himlung Himal from Larkya La Pass 5106 m will remain in your heart forever.

                  From here we head towards Tanbuche followed by Bhimtang. We come across snow and moraines to be at Tanbuche. Bhimtang appears like the abandoned village where you see lots of Buddhist prayer rocks.

                  Overnight at Bhimtang

                    Bimthang is a beautiful village and also a popular vantage point from where we can celebrate splendid views of Mt. Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal and Cheo Himal. Our further descend today takes us to Dudh Khola. Now, we walk through rhododendron and oak forest. Then, we arrive at Karche, a cultivated valley. After we pass the ridge, we arrive at the village of Gho. Our further attempt finally takes us to Dharapani. Overnight at Dharapani.

                      We will catch a local jeep to Besisahar and bus from Besisahar to get in Kathmandu. Or optionally, you can catch a bus to Pokhara.  Here in the capital, you get ample time to roam around especially, on the streets of Thamel. If interested, you can purchase gifts to your friend and family. We will offer you farewell dinner tonight. Overnight Hotel in Kathmandu.
